In de vuren zee
Last year I started on a collaboration with a refugee living in the asylum seekers centre in Gilze at that moment. Zohra and I spent a lot of time together in creating a piece of work. In the end called ‘in de vuren zee’ in the fire sea. We talked about her life in Kenya and how she remembers the nature over there. For me a special new friendship was made.
The end result was printed as an A3 3-color Risoprint. The print is now for sale as a special edition of 25, numbered and signed by me and Zohra. It’s for sale for €60,-.
